The Boys
Showrunner Eric Kripke promises “imagery that you’ll never be able to get out of your eyeballs” in season four of the edgy superhero show. Our eight-page feature also includes contributions from cast members Chace Crawford, Claudia Doumit, Karen Fukuhara, Erin Moriarty, Jack Quaid and Antony Starr.
House of the Dragon
A second season of the Game of Thrones prequel show is also imminent. Showrunner Ryan Condal teases what we can expect. (Plenty of dragon action, by the sound of it…)
A Quiet Place: Day One
It’s time to be oh so quiet again (and we mean in cinemas too, popcorn-munchers - shush!), as John Krasinski’s movie about an Earth overrun by monsters who hunt by sound gets a prequel set at the start of the invasion. We find out more from stars Lupita Nyong'o and Joseph Quinn.
Supacell
A bunch of ordinary South Londoners develop superpowers in this new Netflix show. Bet they feel like misfits after that. We speak to the show’s creator Rapman (Andrew to his mum) and former Doctor Who companion Tosin Cole.
MaXXXine
First there was X, then there was prequel Pearl, now Ti West’s horror series continues with an ’80s-set slasher flick following Mia Goth’s aspiring adult movie star Maxine, as she tries to make it in LA.

Doctor Who
The Doctor’s Disney debut will be coming to a conclusion soon with a two-part season finale. We went on set during the filming of that, and spoke to returning classic series companion Bonnie Langford (Mel).
And that’s not all, features-wise. We also look back at 2004 time travel shocker The Butterfly Effect in the company of directors Eric Bress and Jonathan Mackye Gruber, profile novelist Paolo Bacigalupi, and get horror writer Paul Tremblay to fill in our author questionnaire.
Red Alert
But wait, there’s more! As ever, our news section Red Alert shines a light on yet more TV series, books and comics. In the spotlight this issue: William Shatner's new documentary You Can Call Me Bill (yes, we had an audience with the Shat); Ishana Night Shyamalan's debut feature The Watched; Apple TV+ show Sunny; folk horror stage play The Bounds; and new X-Men, Resident Alien, Anansi Boys, 2000 AD and Doctor Who comics – plus the 40th anniversary of Secret Wars.
